Before we had to call to find out whether a person had been admitted, clerked, had blood tests or anything else we needed to know. Now it’s all displayed in front of us on the screen, it saves a lot of time. Whoever is co-ordinating used to spend all day outside the labs chasing information, now they are able to undertake clinical work inside the labs."
