New partnership to improve sector’s impact measurement
A new partnership between IT providers The Gallery Partnership and the Foundation for Social Improvement’s (FSI) Consultancy team, will allow charities to access expert advice and software to improve their impact measurement.
The partnership comes in response to the charity sector increasingly being asked to measure its effectiveness, with many organisations lacking the time, capacity and resources to do so effectively. The FSI’s biennial UK Small Charity Skills Gap Survey, released 9th March 2017, cites impact reporting as one of the greatest skills gaps within the small charity sector with 48% of respondents requiring some or significant upskilling.
By working with The Gallery Partnership and the FSI, charities will be able to more effectively monitor and measure the difference they make, and successfully demonstrate the impact to funders, donors, supporters, staff and volunteers.
The new ‘Quantum’ package, available now, combines The Gallery Partnership’s innovative online programming and the FSI’s knowledge of impact measurement systems. Charities, organisations and service providers will have the chance to work directly with the Quantum team on their impact measurement and implement the ‘Apricot Outcomes Reporting Software’, saving valuable time and resources.
Mark Kemp, Director of Gallery Partnership commented “We are delighted to formalise our existing partnership with FSI’s expert impact consultants by bringing Quantum to the charitable sector. Quantum uniquely combines our proven outcomes measurement and reporting solution with the expert impact consultants at the FSI into a single end to end affordable package.”
Janine Edwards, Head of Consultancy at the FSI said “The FSI is proud to be working with Gallery Partnership, combining their IT expertise and innovative case management software with our best-practice impact measurement consultancy. We know from our UK Small Charity Sector Skills Gap research that impact measurement and reporting continues to be a challenge for many charities, and we are delighted to launch a joint product to help address needs in the sector”
Specifically, the package will include:
- Support with Impact Measurement and Theory of Change Development
- Developing and impact measurement framework
- A bespoke organisational implementation plan
- Integration of The Gallery Partnership’s Apricot Outcomes Reporting Software
- Training and continual support throughout the process.
